When I started writing His Lethal Attraction, I knew I wanted the romance to feel dangerous from the very first page. I didn’t want soft characters or easy emotions. I wanted tension, obsession, revenge, and two people who were just as lethal to each other emotionally as they were physically.

Max is sent after Anika believing she’s the reason his family is falling apart, and he fully intends to make her pay for it. But Anika refuses to back down from him, which made every interaction between them feel explosive. Their relationship is fueled by anger, mistrust, and attraction that keeps slipping through the cracks no matter how hard they fight it.

I love forcing characters into situations where they can’t escape each other, and trapping Max and Anika together during a brutal snowstorm created the perfect pressure cooker. Once they’re isolated in a remote mountain retreat, every conversation becomes sharper, every touch becomes more dangerous, and the tension between them becomes impossible to ignore.
⛓️ Captor x Captive
This dynamic was one of my favorite parts of the story because the balance of power is constantly shifting. Sometimes Max has control. Sometimes Anika does. Neither fully trusts the other, but they’re forced to rely on each other to survive. That constant push and pull created so much suspense between them.
🔥 Scarred Hero
Max is deeply damaged by guilt, violence, and loyalty to the Kozlov family. He’s ruthless, emotionally guarded, and willing to do terrible things for the people he loves. Writing a hero who feels dangerous even when he’s falling in love made his relationship with Anika even more intense because she becomes one of the only people capable of breaking through his armor.
🖤 Age Gap
The age gap between Max and Anika added another layer to their relationship that I loved exploring. There’s a difference in experience, emotional control, and power between them that makes their chemistry feel even more complicated and addictive.
At its core, His Lethal Attraction is a story about obsession, survival, betrayal, and two people trying to decide if they should destroy each other… or protect each other at all costs.
And honestly? I can’t wait for readers to step into their world. 🔥
